GIVEAWAY! I’m giving away my copy of “Preachers N Sneakers” by Ben Kirby. To enter just comment down below. 🙌 UPDATE: Congrats to @rivravdesign.co, you won! 🥳🥳🥳

“Along with an aversion to cheesy music and disingenuous personalities, my generation has grown weary of politics making its way into the pulpit, causing many millennials to leave the church altogether.” Ben Kirby from @preachersnsneakers

If you’ve been around this account for a while I’ve draw Ben a few times but under the pseudonym “Tyler” so it’s a pleasure to have a real face this time! 😅

I finally read Ben’s book and it’s a great tool of introspection. I know his account comes across that he’s taking shots at the faith but I appreciate his genuine desire to see the gospel preached. I don’t think it takes long being in church culture before you start seeing stuff that makes you question the drip.

This quote in particular really stood out to me because if you spend any time with Ben’s content, you really come away with the idea that this is a man that desires authenticity. Beneath the screenshots of the Yeezys and the Jordans is a question that I think we all wrestle with; am I doing to this for my glory or the glory of God?

GIVEAWAY DETAILS: Like I said above, I’m giving away my copy of this excellent book and with a print of this sketch. Just comment below and I’ll pick someone at random to send it out this week! I don’t have you tag friends or share because I want to just show appreciation for the people that are here. I wish I could just buy a copy for everyone who wanted one but I don’t have money for Gucci belts or massive book drops. 😅
