TLDR: I did an informal audit of sketchy sermons posts and out

TLDR: I did an informal audit of sketchy sermons posts and out of 227 posts I’ve made this year:

118 are of white men
44 are of non-white men
26 are of white women
10 are of non-white women.

Here’s a couple of things I’ve pulled from this:

Every other post is a white male exclusively.
I draw ~ 4 men of color a month.
I draw ~ 3 women (white and non-white combined) a month.
I draw less than one woman of color each month. To put some extra weight on it - 4 of the 10 women of color I drew this year are Old Testament women. I drew 6 living women of color this year or about 1 every other month. 🤦‍♂️

Yikes, there are gigantic communities of people that have amazing things to say that I’m missing out on. In this new year I’m planning on intentionally seeking people in different communities than mine and especially people that don’t look like me.

I ramble on about it in the video. I’m always learning something new here friends. If you have any feedback I’m open to it. God’s community is much larger than what I’m representing here and I want this feed to look a lot more like His church.
