Mr. Rogers on Love

“Love isn’t a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like ‘struggle.’ To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now.”

Mr. Fred Rogers

I know personally that only loving or accepting people when they act in a manner that you expect them to is a frustrating, disappointing, and unloving way to go through life.
