STDs
Abortions
Trust issues
Broken hearts
Callous feelings
Emotional distress
Damaged self worth
Unwanted pregnancies
Feeling of abandonment

Christians are saved by Christ to be the light in the darkness of lies about sex. He left us His Word as the foundation. We are supposed to the examples of the beauty that comes from sex as God designed in marriage leading to a family legacy, not joining in the self destruction.”

I have to admit, at first I didn’t like this tweet. I was like “c’mon seriously?” But I would be lying if I didn’t say this stuck with me for a while though. My goal here is to draw interesting people that say interesting things and this was certainly interesting. I know, the church could certainly do better in this area. On one side there are narcissists and hypocrites and on the other there’s purity culture and people who seriously desire to control what you do in the bedroom. But I feel like the heart of this message is genuine and I’d have a hard time arguing that it’s not biblical.

I could be wrong though - is it the thing that has destroyed the most lives in modern America? I’d love to know what you think.
