I want more politicians to lose their jobs to do the right thing

I *generally* stay out of politics but on the issue of kids getting shot at school, I’m very interested in the power of the Government to step in and change some things.

I don’t expect politicians to fix it all and make it perfect, I just expect them to try. Stop worrying about the next primary, stop worrying about raising money, stop worrying about preserving the caucus; just spend the time you have in office making the best decisions you can to make things like this happen less frequently. At the bare minimum, resolve to research and look at the data and commit to making changes that you may have to compromise on.

I don’t know what the Christian stance on this is? Somedays I’m like “the 2nd amendment exists for a reason” and other days I’m like “let’s melt them all down.” It would seem like *some* regulation would be in order; especially if the data shows it would have prevented any of these things from happening. Maybe we restrict guns AND provide more health care services?

Either way, let’s do something. The price for freedom shouldn’t involve random innocent deaths from people just living their lives.
