The thing I like about instagram is that sometimes you’re scrolling and looking at cool art posts or Turkish street vendors making amazing looking kebabs (it’s so entertaining I have no idea why 🤷🏻‍♂️) but you get derailed and listen to a long form video about a pastor you like who has written a book that you definitely don’t have time for but will definitely pick up anyway and just somehow find the time to read.

As you probably picked up from the image; this week that was Scott Sauls talking about his new book “Beautiful People Don’t Just Happen” with Elisabeth Hasselbeck on IG live. I haven’t read it yet but I appreciate Scott’s heart and I already love the sentiment of the book. If you get a chance and want to listen to something that’s uplifting and encouraging go find this video; I promise it’s worth the 20 minutes!

Also, Scott mentioned banana bread and now I super want banana bread. That's two mentions of food in a post that has zero to do with food. 🤔😅
