Look, you can’t have any opinions on a topic without being classified as being on one side of a complicated issue.

I’m going to level with you, I’m a Marvel fan but I don’t watch any of the Disney plus shows; I just watch the pitch meeting on them. 🤦🏻‍♂️ There’s just so much content out there I can’t even watch the nightly news on any consistent basis. But snarky synopses; I got time for that!

I thought this such a great observation because things online don’t seem to really hit online (Twitter especially) unless it’s got that extreme angle - even on things as non-consequential as a TV Show about a fictional green super hero lawyer.

Maybe that’s the problem - 99% of people really don’t have much of an opinion on it but that last 1% is going to fight to the death online and the rest of us have to pick (or be placed) on one side or the other. And then we apply that methodology to everything.

Not sure how to solve that. I doesn’t help that these kinds of shenanigans permeate all levels of politics currently. Politicians in their pursuit to obtain riches and fame have modeled a discourse that ultimately tears us apart; seems antithetical to what we’re trying to do here.

Maybe the answer isn’t to be on the correct side but to have the correct posture? Fruit of the spirit? Loving your neighbor? Realizing we’ll never 100% right on everything, maybe 100% loving to everyone is the better way to go.
