Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbersâ hands?â And he said, âThe one who showed compassion to him.â Then Jesus said to him, âGo and do the same.â
âStrengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!â
If Iâm being honest, when I first pulled up the video for the @rampchurchintlSunday service I saw the timestamp of 2:14 and I was like âseriously, over two hours long?â By the end I was *exhausted* and grinning from ear to ear. Seriously; who knew a church service could be such a RIDE. I donât think this sketchnote can do justice to what I just saw. The energy is unbelievable! I donât know how Pastor @syyounger doesnât just sleep for 24 hours straight after he preaches a service like that.
I have way too many notes to actually create a full sketchnote. Read this, watch the service, and then ask God for the vision on your own life! âĄď¸âĄď¸âĄď¸
âFor this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.â
So – I see a fair number of sermons and this is honestly the first time Iâve seen a pastor rip apart of phone book with his bare hands and then break a bat with his back. đł I wasnât expecting that and it was kinda awesome. @impactchurchforest is bringing something different!
Pastor Brad exhorts us to stand strong in the face of the enemy and the world at large. A powerful message for a time when itâs easier than ever to just blend in and be silent. âď¸
âIn those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.â
Iâve got to hand it to @charlesbillingsley because I can imagine being asked to preach about moral relativism has got to be a challenging call in multiple realms. I thought he handled it with all the knowledge, grace, and humor that he brings to every sermon. The only problem I had with this sermon is the same problem I have with all of Charlesâ sermons; thereâs just simply not enough space on this iPad to capture all the quotes, history, and lessons he packs into each sermon. Iâd have to start working at poster size! đ Thank you Charles and @thomasroad ! đ
âIf any christian fits neatly into a political party then they donât fit neatly into the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God trancends all political parties.â đł
I started following Pastor @richvillodason twitter and was really impacted by his insight and the love that comes through his words. I decided to catch a sermon and it was so challenging I had to sketch it out. There were so many points and quotes that I just couldnât fit in here. The best part was his conversion of 1 Cor 1:13 -> âIs Christ divided? Was Trump crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Biden?â Whoa.
I tried to fit what I could here but I highly recommend heading over over to @nlfnyc in Queens, NY. WowâŚwhat a message.
âWhen we take our cue from culture; division is inevitable. When we take our cue from Jesus; unity is guaranteed.â
This one wasnât on the schedule. A few people have mentioned @journeyraleigh in Raleigh, NC because they tragically lost their pastor this week. I canât imagine what theyâre going through. I watched the latest sermon that he preached on unity in the church and it is pretty awesome. When you have a minute today say a prayer for our brothers and sisters and the Carroll family down in Raleigh. đ
For months I saw the sign for the Hope Company over on Leesville road and I had no idea it was a church? How awesome is that! I watched Pastor P.J. Preston bring a blessed message on a beautiful Sunday at an outdoor sermon in the parking lot. Itâs so awesome to see how Godâs message is still preached despite the restrictions! đÂ
