Ok wait a second…let me explain 😅

For the most part, the comments I get here are really insightful. I can’t respond to all of them and really I can’t even respond to most of them but I try to read them and learn something from them no matter the tone. I’m really talking about a small subset of comments here.

My expectation when I started all of this was that I would receive more negative feedback from the atheists and agnostics and others that aren’t too happy with the Christian faith. What I found though is people have way more opinions about topics within the faith than outside the faith. Maybe it’s because the algorithm only shares my content to those with Christian beliefs or those friendly to Christian imagery. Either way I’m not sure, I just know when I draw someone with almost any amount of notoriety that there will be those that share in the encouragement and those that feel led to call them out.

Sometimes I do feel bad because somebody I’ve drawn here becomes subject to some pretty harsh words in my comment section but I don’t know how to curb that yet. I never intentionally try to draw someone that will bring in some comments; I just try to draw people I learned something from.

Having said all that, I do get the occasional “your religion is bullsh*t” or “this is all a waste of time” but like all good analysts, I throw out the extremes on either end and try to make sense of what’s in the middle.

All this to say, I’m not discouraging any negative feedback. It’s just not what I initially expected. 🤔🤷‍♂️ Either way, I’m still learning a lot and I appreciate all of you being a part of that.

Note: I may have to do more meme stuff because this is *MUCH* easier and faster to create than the portraits! 😅
