“I want to write a book about a man who had all the glory of the world but who gladly gave it  up to serve the Lord.”

@challies on writing a book about Olympic athlete and missionary Eric Liddell!

I have a vested interest in this book because @harvesthousepublishers asked me to illustrate it! 😱😱😱

I’m super humbled to be working on this with Tim; I’m a fan of his, I love the subject matter (it’s really pretty epic when you lay it all out), and I’m excited to work together with everyone to create something that’s longer form and hopefully impactful in the long term. It’s supposed to release sometime in the Summer of 2024 and Oh mY WOrD I HavE tO GET STartED!!!!

Things won’t change around here too much in the short term although I am closing off commissions because a.) I’m having trouble completing the ones I already have 😫 and b.) I want to make sure I have space to give this work my full attention. When we really get rolling though posts will probably shift from 4 to 5 a week down to 1 or 2 a week. And you’ll probably get a lot Eric Liddell quotes. 😅
