"I have no desire to die on hills that look nothing like calvary."
I clumsily said earlier this week what Jackie Hill Perry said eloquently last year. This post is from last August and it's still one of my favorites. It's not a call to stand in the middle or to be lukewarm but to truly identify what we will stand for and make sure it aligns with who we will stand with.
I wish social media came with a warning before a post or comment was made like "Is this the hill you want to die on? Does it look like Calvary?" If you answer no it deletes what you wrote and logs you out of social media for the day.
One can hope. 🤷♂️
