What’s the point of having an art account if you can’t post some fan art once in a while. 😅

To be totally transparent…I’ve never finished the books. I read the Hobbit but every time I try to read the Fellowship of the Ring I get a hundred pages in, realize they haven’t even left the Shire yet, and fall asleep.

Having said that, I’ve always found it interesting that the hero of the story is the one with the purest heart but weakest physicality. I can see an alternate reality where Tolkien writes an Aragorn that marched up to Mount Doom killing everything in his path before triumphantly throwing the ring in the fire. I’m glad that didn’t happen; we have plenty of stories like that.
