So here’s a new thing I’m trying out that I’ve never done here before…

Planning ahead 😅

For a long time I’ve heard about “batching content” or this so called “planning ahead” but I always avoided it because I thought in my mind that meant “create everything to completion all at one time.” Don’t get me wrong, I love drawing but Saturday is family time and I’m not going to miss basketball time and trips to Kroger to spend *more* time in the basement. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Having said that, I tried something new! Instead of fully creating everything I went ahead and spent an hour or so pulling quotes and getting the initial frame of the sketches completed for the week. Theoretically, that should make the mornings more productive because instead of trying to pull a quote at 5am I can now just drink coffee and get rolling with the sketches I’ve already got queued up!

I might even have enough time to keep the site updated now! 🥳

I wanted to have more time for reading and processing what I’m putting out there so hopefully this will help with that. I’ll let you know how it goes! 🙌🏻
