I way to late with this one because I *just* started reading the book. I screenshot’d this tweet a while ago because while haven’t read the book, the arguments on twitter are…well…they’re kinda vicious. If I have any drum to beat on here it the idea that people don’t care what you have to say about Jesus or the gospel if you conduct yourself in a hateful manner. This isn’t about being “nice” or being “mean” - I’m literally saying that if someone tweets at another person and you can’t pick a couple of fruits of the spirit out of that then you may not acting on Jesus’ behalf. I’m not saying we don’t call out evil and danger; I’m saying not everything one disagrees with is evil or dangerous. In this case, a book of ideas that is well-documented and well-cited by a credentialed professional should have arguments rise to the level of its artistry and professionalism - especially among *Christians.*

We could literally be leaders in this; we could show people what unending grace looks like online. We could display humility and self discipline. The call is there, I would hope we could answer it someday.

In the meantime, I need to finish reading this book. 😬

Note: I'm not 100% this looks like her but I'm sure I'll try again after I finish the book. 😅
