If I were looking for a new church

Look I’m going to call it Twitter ok? Doesn’t matter what the new owner named it, it’s Twitter and people tweet on Twitter. 😅

This tweet may have negative connotations but I think it goes both ways; I’ve seen people who I disagree with react to people with humility and grace while maintaining their convictions and I’ve seen people I agree with bully and belittle people who ask general and even innocuous questions. Twitter provides amazing access to a vast amount of people and the reactions you get aren’t 100% real (I don’t think people would say half the things they say on Twitter to a real person in real life) but they are telling.

Personally, I don’t search for only people I only agree with. I’m interested in what others are saying but I’m definitely not looking for bullies. If you can’t make a point without attacking the person you’re arguing with your argument may not be as strong as you realize.

Looking up a pastors feed shouldn’t be your only research into a new church but if they’re active on there; it’s definitely something to check out.

NOTE: I don’t mean to start off the new year suggesting anyone spend additional time on Twitter. 🤦🏻‍♂️

ANOTHER NOTE: Having said that; the website is still important! 😅 As a long-time web developer I have a deep interest in people maintaining their own space on the web. I’ll cover that some time later though!
