I get a fair amount of questions asking what I use to make my art here so if you’ve wondered here it is! If it changes I’ll come back here and update it!

I use the 2021 12.9 inch iPad Pro with the orange Smart Cover. I fold it over and draw for no more than an hour or two at a time. Any more than that and I’ll pay for it with back pain for the rest of the day. I really should design a more ergonomic set up to be honest. 🤔

I have a 24” @xppen tablet display display, I’ve owned a number of @surface pro devices (version 2, 3, and 6 - all amazing devices) and I’ve owned a number of Wacom devices throughout the years but the iPad is my current go to device. My dream would be some kind of cover that has a hinge like the surface because they nailed it hands down. I’m very fortunate that I can afford to have a computer AND a separate drawing device. If I couldn’t, I’d use a surface pro because when I’m not drawing I’m coding in .NET.

I primarily use @procreate. I’ve bought a bunch of brush packs and I barely use any of them. Freestyler from @ianbarnard is in a frequent rotation but I primarily use the default studio brush with the streamline set to 100%. It’s a really good brush.

My default canvas size is 8” x 8” for quotes and 8.5” x 11” for sketch notes.

My style has come from years of doodling when I should have been doing something more productive. I've learned *a lot* from @rohdesign , @emily_a_mills , and all the folks over at @thesketcheffect including @alejoporrasart and @theconqueringcreative. Instagram has been an amazing platform to share work and meet people and I hope it continues to be that way whether I post reels or not. 😅
