I don't post these as much but I still create notes of some sort at church. Trust me, there's times where I don't want to. There are times where I just want to sit back and let the message wash over me and whatever sticks will stick.

That doesn't work for me though. I know for some people it does and I'd never want to discourage them. For me, if I'm not paying attention, if I'm not taking notes, I'm not going to remember anything. And if the pastor isn't going to just show up and wing it, then I'm not going to just show up and wing it either.

This week the sermon was about heaven and hell. This is part of the series on the church doctrine and mission statement specifically and I appreciate a church that isn't afraid to explain and defend their own doctrine. God bless you all out there. 🙏
