Ephesians 6:10-17

This is the first in a series of posters I’m making reimagining some Biblical concepts. I’ve seen a ton of Armor of God posters but I wanted to make something more in my style so here it is! It’s not based on any kind of historical record but there’s definitely Roman influence in it along with some fantasy elements.

I made this graphic last year but redrew the entire thing so it would print at a nicer quality. This poster is 12” x 18”

Armor of God

Here’s my version of the Armor of God from Ephesians 6:10. Sometimes before I start drawing I hit up google images to see what already exists and what I found is very few women depicted as putting on the Armor of God. I assume they too are wanting to prepare for the schemes of the devil so our warriors are equally depicted here. Also, I don’t really concern myself too much with being historically accurate in my armor and fashion when doing these things. There’s a roman flair here for sure but don’t be surprised if my next Ephesian 6:10 illustration is samurai-based in styling. Oh my word, that actually sounds kinda awesome. 🤔
