Contentment

‘You can’t take Philippians 4:13 and make it mean whatever you want. Paul is saying, “I’ve learned to be content when I receive what I want; I learned to be content when I get nothing I want. I can do either by the power of Christ.’ @mattchandler74

I’m finding more and more that the outcome to most things is totally out of my control. Even here – sometimes I look at the numbers and think “how can I make this more?” and friend, that’s the wrong question. The only number that matters, especially here on instagram, is the number of posts I’ve made. Each one represents something I’ve drawn, something I’ve learned, and something I’ve prayed about. Whether I get a million followers, likes, or comments or whether I lose it all is irrelevant; I can do either by the power of Christ. And if I’m actually doing this for Christ, I’m content.

On another note….how is this the first Matt Chandler post I’ve made??? 😳🤔😅
