Christians be like “We don’t believe in crystals and astrology and superstitious stuff like that,” and then absolutely lose their minds when the moon passes in front of the sun.

I don’t know, I just don’t believe that God sets up elaborate and minor coincidences as a sign that he’s not happy with how something is done. I mean *maybe* he arranged the stars and the planets and the heavens in such a way to let us know in 2024 that He’s not happy with the US by having the moon pass in front of the sun in certain states at a predictable time. 🤷‍♂️ Seems like eisegesis to me though.

Personally, I’m using it as an opportunity to remember that I’m an impossibly small part of a very large and very intimidating universe and there’s a God out there that orchestrated with the whole thing with the sound of His voice. Amazing stuff really. The moon passing in front of the sun? Neat to see but have you ever looked up black holes? Or the size of other stars? Or how fast the earth is spinning around? Craziness. Thank you Jesus I’m alive in a time like this. 🙏
