Ok, a little bit of self-promotion here – I have a small section in this book! 😱😱😱

I have a lot of respect for William (@theconqueringcreative )and pretty much every one I’ve encountered over at @thesketcheffect . They’re all really solid people and I’ve gotten so much help from so many of them.

I totally stumbled into a creative field and while I haven’t totally switched (I still write a lot of code) I’m learning what it takes to not just “do stuff on the internet” but actually build a long-term business centered around my art and making more of it. I’m through the first few chapters and you wouldn’t believe how many times I’m nodding my head like “yep…that’s me!”

I haven’t finished reading the book but William is a quality person and quality people can’t help but make quality products. So for what it’s worth it gets the sketchy sermons seal of approval by default. Geez I wish I would have had this book 20 years ago.
